Peter Rabbit Creator Peter Burgess Dies at 91
UPI reports IW Burgess famed for Peter Rabbit and Jim the Skunk died Saturday night at Mary Lyon Nursing Home in a sleepy New England village. He was 91. Burgess had been hospitalized since a stroke on December 28 1963 and spent years as a bedridden paralytic before a recent recovery and cane aided walking.

Mud Slide Threatens Homes in Pacific Palisades
