Engineers from Western Electric and Tech faculty will spend a month in Texas at the Texas Tech campus to study biomechanics and work analysis. Led by Drs. Tichauer Ayoub and Dudek the program mirrors the Hawthorne approach and targets on the job situations to improve efficiency and safety at manufacturing plants. The course, taught by Prof. Tichauer and Dr. Ayoub, marks Tech as a premier center west of the Mississippi for industrial biomechanics education.
