Two Fishermen Drown Near Perryton After Torrential Rains
Two fishermen Ben H. Davis and Gene Noble Smith were found drowned in a water filled pickup south east of Perryton Texas. The 74 and 48 year old Booker residents were believed drowned when the pickup veered into a water filled ravine along Wolfe Creek after heavy rains. Coroner Hardy Hulsey said they died by drowning.
