Norsworthy Noodle Creek oil tests near Seminole Texas
Aggressive drilling at the Noodle Creek field in the Southwest Gaines and Dawes area targets upper Clear Fork and Fusselman zones. Amerada Petroleum and Texaco report two upper zones perforated and swabbed, with preliminary yields of salt water and oil in process. Additional rigs near Carlsbad New Mexico and Lea County consider further tests as Exxon and local outfits advance.
