A 200 foot suspension footbridge over the Clinton River at Hillcrest Country Club collapsed during the Women’s Wolverine Open in Mount Clemens Michigan. About 50 spectators and players, including Joe Anne Prentice, were hospitalized. Prentice, 30, a Birmingham Alabama pro, had non serious injuries and was kept under observation.
