Meadow couple feted on 50th wedding anniversary at St. Anthony's
Brownfield special report notes Mr. and Mrs. Macio M. Torres of Meadow celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Saturday reception at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Some 200 guests attended. The couple, natives of Mexico, moved to Meadow in 1940 and farmed. they were married in 1922 in Flatonia and became U.S. citizens in 1971.
