Kidnaper Seized After 28 Hour Ordeal In Oklahoma
An officer held a 30 year old kidnapper at gunpoint in a plum thicket near Ecumseh Oklahoma and rescued 25 year old Katherine Hudgins who was wearing a thin half slip. The abductor assaulted her and threatened to kill her as Floyd Moutan was taken to Shawnee to face felonious assault and kidnapping charges. Woman Struck By Lightning In Critical Condition
Mrs Otto Estes, 45, of 2502 Louisville, was struck by lightning at 5 40 pm on 26th Street between Knoxville and Louisville avenues while walking home from her husband’s grocery store. She was taken to Methodist Hospital within ten minutes in extremely critical condition. A friend in a car nearby and Mrs Kirksey at 3617 26th St were noted in the vicinity.
