Winners of the first annual Avalanche Journal Chevrolet Soap Box Derby on East Broadway Hills will compete for top prizes. First prize is an all expense trip to Akron for the All American Soap Box Derby on August 15 with a chance at a four year college scholarship and a new Chevrolet Jet. Additional prizes include a gold wrist watch, a $100 security bond, bicycles, and various gift certificates and goods from local sponsors.
