Contracts awarded for new elementary school construction in Lubbock

North of Lubbock County Ends Purchase Of Land For Highway

County officials halted plans to buy 44 parcels for the U S 87 highway north of Lubbock as part of the Interstate 27 corridor from Amarillo to Lubbock. Two condemned parcels remain in court with no definite resolution, and attorney Bill Davis will be consulted. Me troliner delayed by fallen tree branch in Washington

Bank holdup in Poughkeepsie nets estimated $100000
