National Champion Sonny Not For Sale From Family
Darla Peveler and father Lynn Peveler of 4310 23rd St. say Sonny the 1971 national champion all around Quarter Horse is not for sale. The 6 year old sorrel stallion has won ribbons in 80 events nationwide, rarely failing to place, and his bond with Darla ranges from playful to affectionate as she trains him in working-horse maneuvers. Judy Sparkman helped start Sonny’s training before Darla grew close to the animal.
