Indictments Named Six Including Lubbock Lawyer in SBA Case
Federal officials released six names in sealed indictments by a grand jury in U S District Court. Lubbock attorney Royce Ball and former assistant city attorney allegedly aided Bobbie May Wood in false SBA disaster loan statements. Wood allegedly claimed a January 1970 property purchase to obtain a loan though purchased May 20, 1970. Radwin J Sims of Plainview and wife Mildred were indicted on four counts of income tax evasion from 1965–1968. The couple have run a Plainview business since 1955.
