Texas Screwworm Surge Impacts 1965 66 Outlook
The Southwest Screwworm Eradication Center reports Texas had about twice as many screwworm leases in 1965 as the prior year and led all states in reports. Weather this winter will influence 1966 counts. Efforts focus in Northern Mesien to halt reinfestation from border areas.
