Ernest Cole, 29, who has lived in Floydada, is sought in the murder of J. D. Ham, 44, whose body was found in an abandoned farm house near here. The murder charge was filed by Sheriff Walter Hollams before Justice of the Peace S. J. Handley. Ham had been shot and authorities believe he was burned to death earlier in Oklahoma. A two car crash near Benjamin Texas claimed the lives of Mrs Patsy Joiner 27 and her husband Joe R Joiner 28 both of Lorenzo along with their son Jimmy 4 and daughter Sammie 18 months were treated with others injured at Wichita Falls hospital. The accident occurred on US 82 eight miles east of Benjamin. The bodies were at Carter Funeral Home in Ralls as funeral plans were made.
