Three Hurt In Area Wreck In Floydada Area
A Floydada couple Warnie J. Hilton 79 Lola B. Hilton 7 and Mary Whiteside 67 were injured in a car truck crash near Matador early today. All three were treated at Stanley Hospital here with Hilton having lacerations and a possible broken shoulder while x rays were taken to determine injuries.

Mrs Hilton suffered a broken right arm, cut lip and bruises in a collision on U S Highway 70 ten miles east of Matador Texas. The accident occurred at 2 am when Hilton’s car drifted into the westbound freight truck driven by Dewey Darden. Darden and a passenger Claude Whiteside were not seriously hurt.

Hungary raises minimum age for capital punishment to twenty
In a sweeping penal reform prime ministerial decree in Budapest the government amended the constitution to set the minimum age for capital punishment at twenty years and ended previous allowances that effectively sentenced juveniles ages twelve to fourteen. Justice Minister Ferenc Neválsid announced the change as part of the new measure.
