Santas rush to the Lubbock animal shelter on Municipal Drive to find puppies as Christmas gifts. Puppies arrive daily from various mothers and are placed in stockings with hope of homes. youngsters and families form bonds as adults wait for adopters. Fireman Injured In Skydive Exhibition Show
Charles Nicola a 24 year old Lubbock firefighter and Confederate Skydivers member narrowly escaped death Saturday afternoon when his parachute lines tangled with another skydiver 3500 feet above during halftime of a charity football game between the Lubbock Police Department and KSEL. Nicola used his auxiliary chute after the tangle and was treated at Methodist Hospital for an ankle injury and released.
