Driver Hits Pole Snaps Top of Pole and Suffers Bruises
A 20 year old driver, T. L. Christy of 1102 37th St., sustained minor bruises after his 1946 sedan struck a telephone pole near 22nd Street and Avenue A. The top of the pole snapped and power lines sagged. Officers found him semi conscious at 30th Street and Avenue A and an investigation continued.
