Cuban regime agent Portela arraigned in Manhattan
Francisco Portela a naturalized American and head of the Prensa Latina bureau was arrested on federal charges in Washington and taken to New York for arraignment. He and the agency he represents face indictments for failing to register as Cuban regime agents. FBI agents detained him at Prensa Latina offices and will interrogate him at FBI headquarters.
