In east Kent County Robert L Wood completed a second well 4 miles NE of Claire mont, doubling as the lone producer for the East Claremont Strawn field. No 1 Bilby Wallace pumped 146.1 barrels of 33.6 gravity oil. gas showed on a 24 hour test. Industry activity includes several Pennsylvanian zone tests and Se Texas wildcat drilling with varied results and oil gas production figures. A 28 million oil refinery is planned by Shell interests at Mombasa Kenya.
