Secretaries testify in bribery trial over school fund payments
Mrs. Shirley Glandon former secretary to Randall County Judge Roy Joe Stevens testified in Wichita Falls that Stevens paid extra money from Randall County school funds for note taking during his bribery trial. She described a $100 check dated May 15 1959 plus a $70 payment for work on Amarillo attorney Joe Brock's trial. She said the school fund did not owe extra pay but Stevens was the boss.
