Hopeful of finding cure doctor injects cancer into self

In Lima a Peruvian physician injected his own leg with cancer cells from his half sister Elis Wenzell and later gave her the antibodies his body formed. He says the cancer seems to have disappeared though only weeks have passed and five years remain to prove a cure. Similar antibody mobilization trials are underway in the United States and elsewhere.

Yule Lights Tour Planned By Lubbock CofC

On December 19 the Women’s Division of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will sponsor chartered bus tours of Yule Trail decorations and Texas Tech campus lighting. Buses depart First Christian Church and return there for refreshments. about 290 people joined last year. This year each bus runs separately with a guide on board. James Baker chairs the project.

Far South Plains Weather Sees Cold Front

A cold front from Canada heads toward Texas expected to drop temperatures 10 to 15 degrees across the South Plains today.
