Student’s four year ghost tale ends in church attic hiding

Singapore student Cheng Guamn Lim, studying at the University of Michigan, lived unseen in a church attic in Ann Arbor from November 1953. He survived on scraps, walked on stilts to avoid footprints, and slept on the floor while keeping to the tower. Police found him in the First Church tower rafters at 6 am.

About 24,000 school age children in Lubbock public schools start classes with 14,764 elementary pupils registering today and 3,445 high school students collecting schedules from 8 30 to 10.
