Girl Hit By Car In Crosswalk At Parkway and Cherry

A 16 year old girl Carolyn Powers was injured crossing Parkway Drive at Cherry Ave when struck by a car driven by Peat Gray. She was admitted to Methodist Hospital in unknown condition. Officers Earnest Rector and J J Gill cited Gray and described skid and medians involved. Reckless driving tickets were issued to two 17 year old drivers at the scene.
