State Park Bid Pressed By Austin And Lubbock Groups

Austin and Lubbock delegations pressed a bid to establish a state park at Croton Brakes east of Guthrie. The Austin team included Mark Gosden and A J Walker with wildlife and park planning officials. Lubbock members from Texas Tech and city recreation joined. They inspected the brakes by air and ground then dined with local officials at the Guthrie air strip.

Ground image conversion issues caused the early lack of detail while later frames revealed a paw print like crater group and long grooves.
