By Pat Patrick staff writer Hobbs New Mexico area top Federal Energy Administration official Monday warned a natural gas shortage this winter may force cutbacks of heating gas to homeowners as demand rises and supply tightens across the region.
Hale County grand jury indicted former Floyd County deputy Eddie Anzaldua on official misconduct, a Class A misdemeanor, while declining to indict him for rape connected to a June incident. Hale County DA said rape charge would be dismissed. bond set at 750 dollars. Anzaldua, suspended four days after the incident, was among 34 indictments against 31 persons.
Ford and Reagan courted delegates across Kansas City hotels and lobbies in the closest presidential contest of the times.
