Devaney Not Preparing To Join Pro Coaching Ranks
Former Nebraska coach Bob Devaney said he lacks the motivation and time to coach in the NFL or AFL. He retired from active coaching to serve as athletic director and plans to focus on Nebraska sports and the new fieldhouse. He would consider a pro offer only from an established organization and if he misses coaching.
