High-Rise Maternity Ward Nest for Calico Cat
A calico cat uses a bird nest high in a mulberry tree outside the Vincent Reno home at 1512 65th St as its maternity ward. Mrs. Reno found a kitten in the fork of the tree, later relocating another kitten and discovering multiple nests above. She suspects the kittens will be found again when hungry, as dogs roam below and the mother cat remains up in the limbs. The origin of the cat is unknown but it is friendly and not the Renos' own.
