Yetta Wallenda Fatal Plunge at Omaha Circus

Yetta Wallenda of the aerial circus family died after falling from a 60 foot pole during a Tanigier Shrine show in the Omaha City Auditorium watched by 5 000 spectators. Her back struck a guide rope 15 feet above the floor and she landed face down. She died on arrival at a hospital with death attributed to a broken neck.
