Tragic Pair Die In Roads On South Plains
Two deaths and two injuries occurred in separate crashes on Monday on South Plains roads. Mrs. Bruce Land, 21, and Thurston Deen Sevar, 59, die in two-car wrecks near Snyder and Swisher County. Clauda Collins, 22, and Catherine Cain, 24, injured. Collins hospitalized on return from Tech spring vacation. Sevar killed when trailer detaches from a truck and crashes into his car near Happy community. Funeral arrangements planned. area traffic toll reaches 34 this year.
