Rites Set Today For Farmer Samuel Lawson
Last rites for Samuel Frank Lawson farmer of the Ragtown community near Post will be conducted at Ragtown Church at 3:90 this afternoon with Rev. Gilliam officiating. Lawson, a six year resident, is survived by his wife two children Cleta Rankie and Ella Jo four sisters Mrs Ora Bratton Mrs Ellie Pinson Mrs Audie Baldion Mrs May Lowe and brothers Russell Elmer Hunter. Burial will follow at the Post Cemetery. Arrangements with Rix Funeral Home, Lubbock.

Collision fatal to father and son in Dallas county
A father Oscar Burroughs aged 42 and his two year old son Harry were killed when their car collided with a motor freight truck. The crash raised Dallas county outside city limits annual traffic deaths to 18 for the year.
