Inventor unveils Calit “Poor Man’s Helicopter” for garage use

Buford J Schramm, 27 and former Cal Poly student, unveiled a 300 pound single seat helicopter intended for garaged storage. The 100 horsepower machine would cost about 11 500 to 14 000, half the price of typical helicopters, and could later be enlarged for two to four passengers.
