Lawyer argues Texas Tech law school justified by growth
Levelland attorney Alvin R. Allison told the Lubbock County Bar Association that West Texas growth and rising property valuations justify a Texas Tech law school. He outlined a $60 000 budget, 25 to 50 first year students, two professors, and gifts of books and libraries to seed a 20 000 volume collection. The group approved sending a resolution to Tech trustees and the state Commission on Higher Education endorsing the school and pledging cooperation.
