A lively evening featured games and a late dainty lunch served by Hattie Hamlett and Frances Hurd with Mabel Dent and Margaret Cheney. The hostess received many useful presents and guests departed after offering birthday wishes.

The reading room is in the Nesmith building with entrance from Merrimack street. The amusement room for the men’s branch and the women’s branch in Swan building will open Saturday night.
