New York, Sept. 20. Attorney General Knox arrived on the steamship St Paul after a three week trip to discuss the Panama Canal with officials in France. He would not reveal conference details or confirm title status, saying he will report to the President. Abandoned 6 Year Old Reunited with Bangor Mission
In Bangor Maine on September 19Miss M E Glidden city missionary took charge of six year old Isabelle Clifford who was found abandoned Thursday night on the 710 Bangor and Aroostook train. Conductor Murphy sent the child back to Bangor this morning. The girl says she lived with her sister but does not know the town name. She was traveling with her mother who planned to live with a new mamma in Boston. Police seek the mother seen with the child and continue inquiries.
