The dressing of his wound produced benefit, his stomach tolerates beef juice well, and he takes it with satisfaction. The morning condition is excellent with a pulse of 116 and rising strength.
The 8:30 morning consultation at Milburn residence reports from Dr Park that last night’s operation caused no complications. Doctors’ notes from 9:26 and 11:10 indicate favorable progress, with cautious optimism on recovery. A conference between District Attorney Penney and Secretary of War Root is planned on pursuing charges against Leon Czolgosz and Emma Goldman.
