Bristol Rhode Island October 18 Bank officials are considering absorbing the Bristol Institution for Savings First National National Eagle and Bristol County Savings banks into Industrial Trust Co which has previously acquired several banks in the state.
A Vatican minor official was arrested in Rome on October 18 charged with giving thieves access to the room from which 50,000 lire were stolen recently. The case centers on security lapses enabling the theft.

The find links a woman to his disappearance as Mrs Harvey’s measurements resemble a bust size. Mrs Smalley seeks return of property seized to satisfy creditors. Smalley may have gone to Worcester Boston or Europe. Frank Smalley returned from New York to discuss the firm’s dealers and a possible factory safe loss. The father’s property in the business and rent history are noted as motive and concern grows over Smalley’s whereabouts.
Nashua October 13. Superintendent D J Flanders and Assistant General Manager Frank Barr of the Boston and Maine railroad were in Nashua on business. After a careful survey it was decided to double the capacity of the road s repair shops there and to have the Fitchburg railroad cars repaired in this city.

The fire department was called twice this forenoon first after 9 from box 113 when a tene ment near the board of health fumigation sparked an alarm. Between 11 30 and 12 another alarm from box 125 cited a fire from an oil stove in a Jefferson street tenement occupied by Greeks. Window casing and a sink burned out and smoke and water damaged the tenement.
