Stolen Horses Recovered by Sunday Morning
A Chelmsford Centre milkman lost his team between 8 and 9 pm and Fred G. Mitchell’s bay horse and stanhope carriage vanished from Kirk street between 9 and 10 pm. Both were found by Sunday morning, Freemean’s in Chelmsford and Mitchell’s near Golden Cove tied to a tree, then recovered. A lap robe in the carriage was stolen earlier. Several Lawrence drunks were arrested Saturday night, two from the last car.

Liquor Seizure Ties Manifold Goods to Brookside Stock

Suit to Recover Salary Due From City

Lowell Homing Club’s First Old Bird Race From Palmer
The Lowell Homing Club held its first old bird race from Palmer to Lowell on Saturday. Entrants were Dyer and Youngjohns, Conroy, Fletcher, Stanley, with distances ranging around 58 to 59 miles. W. D. Richardson released the birds at 1:40 PM. Conroy won first, followed by Youngjohns and Fletcher, with Dyer and Stanley placing later. Next Saturday birds will be released at Hartford, Conn, for a 98 mile flight to Lowell and the young birds schedule to be set at the next meeting.

Armenian man falls from electric car at Bridge and West Fourth
Stephen Jaraheam, an Armenian, was injured this morning when he fell from an electric car at Bridge and West Fourth streets.
