It furnishes safety deposit boxes with private rooms and pays 4 percent interest in its Savings Department compounded semi annually with monthly start. Aguinaldo arrived in Manila as a prisoner aboard the gunboat Vicksburg. He was taken ashore and questioned by Gen. MacArthur at Malacanang, then escorted to Anda street jail. The seizure involved an insurgent major killed and twenty rifles with papers captured. His arrest followed a flight from Casiguran in northeastern Luzon.
On arriving at Jolo in Sulu March 28 the American Philippines commission was warmly greeted. The Sultan’s palace and local homes bore flags as the Sultan met the ship and received a 17 gun salute. Refreshments were served by a host of assistants, and organizers oversaw the dining room arrangements.
Police notes received from Woburn report Henry McGovern aged 22 missing from the town. Described as five feet ten inches tall with red hair and a demented condition. He wore a black coat and light striped trousers when last seen.

Fire department responded to two minor incidents yesterday. Box 139 at 5:05 reported a slight closet fire on Cross street. Box 28 at 7:00 reported an exploded lamp on Aiken street. Damage in both cases was slight.
