St Louis March 25 It has just been learned that Mrs Addie Blanther wife of the San Francisco murderer who killed himself Monday in jail betrayed her husband because he loved another woman.
In San Francisco on March 25 Fitzsimmons is linked with a New York broker proposing him as instructor for a new athletic club in Gotham City. The plan envisions the retired champion coaching and promoting the venture although details remain sparse.
Mrs Henry Newton aged 40 of South Framingham has committed death by own action by hanging on March 25. Temporary insanity was the cause.

Evangelist Mr Frank W Sandford plans a revival tour through Aroostook county Maine and says Mr Fred McGregor will provide a white chariot and pair of white horses for the journey. McGregor has already given one horse. Sandford cannot guarantee the second gift but expects it. They expect a small vessel to aid coastal work.

Officer Lane and Inspectors Allen and Laflamme arrested Ray Adams this morning on a warrant charging him with stealing a gold and silver watch and several articles of men s wearing apparel. His case will come up tomorrow.

Dr Herbert B Howard of this city is appointed superintendent of Massachusetts General Hospital and will start June 1. A Worcester County native born March 24 1842 he has long led the state almshouse at Tewksbury and held various medical society memberships. His career includes Harvard College and Harvard Medical School degrees, prior service at the almshouse, and a 3126-patient year at the Tewksbury hospital. In Police court today Judge Hadley discharged two unoffending strangers after simple drunkenness hearings and continued one case. Kate Mayo alias Rose Kelley received a harsher sentence, being sent to Sherburne for one year.

Miss Ruby M. Pike of this city wed Mr. Merrill A. Smith of Boston yesterday afternoon at No. 1 Coral Street. Rev. C. B. Fisher officiated with Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Noyes as attendants and Edith L. Pike as maid of honor. Floral decor and catering by D. L. Page Company highlighted the ceremony. The couple will reside in Forest Hill.
In the presence of immediate relatives and friends Mr. J Willard Fletcher and sussdla H Whidder united in marriage yesterday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents Mr and Mrs Charles E Whidden in Westiura.
