Wilton New Hampshire March 9 The Wilton savings bank began paying a 10 percent dividend yesterday, the fifth such distribution bringing total dividends to 70 percent since closing its doors three years ago. Assignee George B. Bales says about $16,000 is needed to fund this dividend. Last payout was July 1, 1900.
Cincinnati report says Miss Ollie Hartsough, a conservatory of music pupil, died after a folding bed collapsed while she entertained two friends. The weight caused the bed to close and strike her head, fracturing her skull and leading to death the following afternoon.
Reports say Pierre A. Brousseau, president of the common council, vanished after visiting city hall Wednesday afternoon. He was seen in Merrimack and Shattuck streets and took an electric car toward Middlesex station before traveling to Boston. No trace since.
