Montpelier Vermont March 6 Mrs Isabella A Marsh and William C Buzzell are to be tried for murdering Mrs Marshs husband by poisoning several weeks ago.

It is estimated orders for 89 tons of glass have been placed to replace windows ruined by the subway explosion. Two firms together took $16,000 in orders. Police, replying to a Ward and Ward Society complaint, arrested 12 tobacco dealers in Lawrence for possessing nickel-in-the-slot gaming devices. Bail was set at $200 for each man to appear in court.
Edward J. Russell alias Edward Meredith, recently convicted in Brooklyn county court of blackmail, was found in Raymond Street jail cell suffering morphine poisoning at 9 this morning. He admitted taking three grains with intent to end his life after obtaining the poison in court, but declined to explain how he obtained it. He is in a critical but stabilizing condition under guard.
James P Kernochan died at his New York home Friday from injuries suffered Monday when knocked down by a rapidly driven horse at Fifth Avenue and Forty-first Street. Born in 1831, he married a daughter of Peter Lorillard and managed her estate for 20 years. A social figure, he belonged to the Union Metropolitan and Tuxedo clubs and had long been active in the Patriarchs. His Ochre Point Seaview villa at Newport was among the area’s most attractive. He is survived by his widow and two children.

The Royal Blue Line offers a Lowell Mass traveler a five day Washington trip with Mount Vernon and Philadelphia visits included. Albert L. Bacheller of Lowell coordinates the arrangements and the full Lowell to Washington round trip costs 27 dollars including hotel and all expenses.
Sunday services announce Sunday school at 3 p m Y P S C E at 4 Band of Hope at 515 and preaching by Rev Wim Merrill at 630 in the Wigginville Mission with a full day of activities and a sermon to conclude.

George A Murphy was remembered at a 2 p.m. service at his Westford and Marlboro street home with Rev. George W. Bicknell of Cambridge officiating. Mrs. George E Burns and Mrs. George B Sturtevant signed. Bearers were William A Brigham Edward H Morse Peter F Conaton James Hanson. Fred F Osterhout in charge with J B Currier as undertaker. Burial followed at Edson cemetery with abundant flowers from Boston friends. Separately Willie Coughlin's funeral was held at Undertaker Savage's rooms at 2 p.m. with burial in a Catholic cemetery.

The Police court session was brief this morning. Richard Bond Joseph Reed and James Moore were each fined $3 for drunkenness. William Kelley paid $15 for a similar offence and was held in $100 to keep the peace for six months. Carl Wesson was fined $10 for larceny. The Theosophical Society will hold a Sunday afternoon discourse at 3 in Runels Building room 35 Bridge and Merrimack streets.
Charles I. Warren died of typhoid fever at Flyde Park on March 3.
