Washington March 5 The President prepared nominations for the cabinet including Griggs as attorney general who will hold the post until a successor is chosen It is expected Robert McCormick of the District of Columbia will be nominated as minister to Austria to replace Harris who resigned
Georgetown Colorado March 5 The Atlantic and Pacific railway tunnel and all mining and mill site property of the company were sold at auction to satisfy judgments exceeding 760000 secured by Mrs Marie E Heyt a bond holder The entire property was bid in by Jesse E Ratchford banker and capitalist of Syracuse New York for 4100

Other defendants include Joseph Groleau charged with breaking into a barn and Joseph Ducharme with breaking into a house, both held for grand jury. Agnes Maher sentenced to two months at the workhouse for shoplifting. multiple drunks receive fines and short jail terms.
