Trade Review highlights trade and commodity shifts
Bradstreet's summary notes six months of strong business with gains across many lines and rising railroad earnings, offset by cooler weather delaying retail distribution. Cotton prices hover higher on dry spells, woolen demand improves, and raw wool stays steady while sugar is cheaper. Wheat and corn show mixed signals with drought in Texas pressuring cotton outlook. Export totals rise modestly versus last year.

Modern English Wedding Invitations Set New Custom
June brides should mail invitations 18 days before the wedding, replacing the 14 day standard. Names are now written in the invitation, personalizing the notice, with skilled penmanship matching engraved scripts. The latest format omits the couple’s names on the main invitation, sending them on separate cards, creating a shorter, more compact sheet measuring six and a quarter by five and a quarter inches.
