The bells for St Patrick's church South Lawrence were blessed Wednesday night after a crowded service. Bishop Brady performed the blessing and Rev. James J. Arthur Duff a 15 year old resident of Marsh Street injured his fingers while working at Woods Sherwood and Co wire factory Bridge Street this morning He was taken to the Emergency hospital for treatment.

Lowell plans summer programs for grammar grade students with admission limits. Manual training will run six classes taught by Mr Putnam, cooking classes led by Miss Grace D Bachelder at the Free Chapel, and nine cooking classes for girls. Mann and Edson schoolyards to operate as playgrounds mornings for children four to ten with supervised play and crafts, plus possible sewing and cane seating classes for older youths.
