The Vaughn brothers were found guilty after a one and a half hour deliberation and sentenced to life in state prison with three days in solitary. Miss Gertrude A Roberts became corresponding secretary while Mark A Adams was recording secretary and Fred Chandler treasurer. Delegates to the National People's Christian Union convention in July at Lynn include Adams, Roberts, and Adams.
William F Daley aged 27, unmarried, died at 2 am Monday at the Middlesex house of correction. He was to stand trial in the superior court at East Cambridge for drunkenness and larceny. Medical examiners Swan and Durell report death from diseases caused by alcoholism.
John Hennessy received three months in jail after an assault on Timothy McCarty. The three drunks Columbus R. Day, Kenneth J. MacKenzie and William A. Maher faced fines of five dollars each. William F. Gannon pleaded guilty to breaking glass and was fined two dollars.
The funeral of Wm H Condon was held at 8:30 am from his home at 25 Agawam Street. The Sacred Heart Church choir directed by Miss Adelaide Sullivan sang Schmidt's requiem mass and Pie Jesu. After mass Nearer My God to Thee was sung. burial followed at St Patrick's Cemetery with bearers Frank Carruthers Patrick O'Brien Matthew McDermott Thos Lacey Benjamin Buck and Timothy Buckley. C H Molloy directed the funeral.

Annette C Knox aged 37 died in the city at 712 Middlesex street with funeral at 2 pm tomorrow from Branch Street Tabernacle. Zina BR Stone aged 76 died in the city with funeral at Grace church Wednesday at 2 30 pm, prayers at the house preceding the service.
Mrs Mirabeth Storrs Mead president since 1890 resigns her Mount Holyoke post effective one year from date. Trustees heard Tuesday. a conference committee urged reconsideration last week but she remains steadfast and sails to Europe to begin relief from duties. She plans to live with sister Miss Harriet S Billings of Dover after leaving the college.
