In Augusta Maine on June 17 Dr Robert J Martin and Miss Theresa Dolan both of Augusta were drowned when a boat capsized Miss Dolan was in the boat Martin went to her aid and both bodies were recovered He was a prominent state physician and married Caroline Burleigh daughter of former Governor Burleigh
Chicago June 17 Union labor will back a servant girl reform. The local Woman's International Labor League plans to organize sixty thousand home workers in Chicago to secure a regular wage scale eight hour day holiday pay and overtime pay.
