The missing wallet was reported to the superintendent of police. a strange man was seen leaving just before her return.
Funeral services for John F. Frye associate justice of the police court were held at the Lowell cemetery chapel with prayers at the house earlier. Rev George F Kenngett officiated, noting his long illness and high standing, as a male quartet sang. Bearers included Judges Hadley and Pickman, with James F E Savage in charge. Burial followed at Edson cemetery.

Thomas Smith died yesterday morning at n his Bowers street home after a year of illness, tied to the Emerald baseball club as treasurer.
