Albany June 6 Governor Roosevelt signed requisition papers for the extradition of nurse Belle Anderson also known as Carrie Jones for kidnapping the Clark child. The nurse is now at Summit New Jersey awaiting transfer to New York City.
The Mazet committee resumes hearings in New York on June 6 with Henderson, counsel for Police Captain Price, refused admittance by committee orders. The session signals continued scrutiny of Price’s actions and related police conduct.
Oxford and Cambridge accept athletic challenge from Harvard and Yale with conditions. Eligible dates proposed July 12 13 or 14 must fall on a Saturday to suit London crowds. In Keene New Hampshire on June 5 authorities press a hunt for Lewis Caster wanted for the murder of his wife. A squad of four English bloodhounds from Boston will be used to track the fugitive suspected to be hiding in the woods north of the city, with the trail to begin tomorrow.
Seabrook New Hampshire June 5 16 month old Sadie daughter of James E B Locke died after swallowing oil of checkerberry found in a bottle at grandparents home. Medical help arrived too late on scene and death was reported.
Austin June 5 Gov Sayer telegraphed all southern state Governors and attorneys general calling an anti trust convention in St Louis September 20. Aim to secure concerted action against trusts with coordinated state efforts and enforcement.
George LeClair a Boston music teacher collapsed from heat today and was transported to Emergency hospital where doctors expect a full recovery.
Boston report indicates generally fair conditions for Massachusetts with slightly cooler temperatures on Wednesday. Southwest winds are expected, providing modest relief from heat into midweek.

Mrs Sarah Thompson wife of Dr A Thompson died at their home 36 Varney street at noon yesterday after an organic heart disease illness of four months. Born August 4 in Antean Maine she joined a Puritan family and married July 4 1861. She moved to Lowell April 23 1867 and resided there. Funeral service Wednesday at 1 pm at the residence and 2 pm at the Wor then street Methodist church. Body to be entombed temporarily at Lowell cemetery pending a family tomb.
Funeral services for Ruth Shaw were conducted at 465 Parker Street with a quartet singing and burial at Edson Cemetery under C. M. Young & Co. Undertakers. Peter Lachlan’s services were at his parents’ home 78 Ludlam Street with burial at St Patrick's Cemetery, Molloy Undertaker in charge.
