Rescue Hero Rescues Child From Canal in Quebec News
Mr. Wilbrod Bouthillette, manager of Joseph Albert's shop, heroically saved five year old Ovila Letourneau from drowning in a canal near Aiken and Ford streets. The child drifted near the surface, held by his schoolbag, before Bouthillette plunged in and secured him. The boy recovered after care at Albert's shop, while Bouthillette, recovering from rheumatism, remained shaken. Also noted are Fr. Fournier’s Canada trip plans and corrections on naval ranks of George Charette.
