Grinnell Iowa June 4 Dr George D Herron expelled from church and college faculty for immoral conduct and desertion of wife and children The Congregational council found his defence transparently used to justify his marriage views and condemned his actions based on testimonies of Mrs Herron and neighbors detailing years of alleged abandonment and personal crisis.

Mrs Thomas Smith entertained 65 members of Highland lodge of Rebekah at her East Chelmsford home on Tuesday afternoon and evening.
