Michael Ryan reported to police at 11 30 Saturday night that he was stabbed in Bent's court with a knife thrust through his coat collar. He said he left a bar with Joseph Bibeault when a man they met in the court confronted them and drew a knife. Bibeault suffered a throat scratch while Ryan had a facial cut, no serious injuries reported.
A trailer on a Lakeview car broke down during a trip to town last evening. A few passengers were aboard and were moved to the trolley while the disabled car was shoved aside. The axle broke as the car ran slowly, but no injuries were reported.
